Aug 2, 2026    Pastor Randy

What if the most dangerous weapon you'll ever hold isn't in your hand — but in your head? Pastor Randy opened with a striking truth: the enemy doesn't always come with fire and fury; sometimes he arrives as a single anxious thought that hijacks your next move. Drawing from Acts 17:22-34, Pastor Randy unpacked how the Apostle Paul — surrounded by idols in Athens and fresh off two city-wide mob situations — refused to react out of fear or instinct. Instead, Paul observed the culture, analyzed his audience, and responded with a mind so loaded with truth that he quoted their own poets to point them toward the living God. Pastor Randy's unique insight cuts straight to the heart: instinct is flesh, but discernment is Spirit; reaction is fear, but response is faith. Like a soldier nearly firing on his own comrade because he trusted adrenaline over training, many of us are pulling triggers on the wrong battles — fighting what God wants to use for growth, or fleeing the very moment He's calling us forward. Romans 12:2 reminds us, *"Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect."* This week, before you react — load your mind.
